Take the First Step

We want everyone to be an active part of our church family! Connection Class is the first step.  Connection Class is designed to help you become an active member with a sense of belonging. In Connection Class you learn about the basics of Christianity. We look at salvation, why we baptize by immersion, what we believe concerning the Lord's Supper, the Mission Statement of Centre First Baptist Church and how we are seeking to accomplish our mission. We also look at Baptist beliefs such as Eternal Security, Priesthood of the Believer and church autonomy.

Get Connected

On the odd months (Jan., March, May, etc.)  Connection Class meets during Sunday School (9:45-10:45) in the classroom next to the Welcome Center. On the even months (Feb., April, June, etc.) the entire Connection Class is condensed into a 3 hour session. These sessions begin after the second worship service. Lunch and babysitting are provided.

Because we feel it is important for you to understand what we believe and our philosophy of ministry, we ask that all prospective members attend a Connection Class. Check our Church calendar for upcoming membership class dates and times.
