Steven is an Alabama boy born and raised in Tuscaloosa.  He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 15.  About 4 years later he accepted the call to full-time Christian ministry.  He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2001.  The summer after he graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science he took a part-time youth ministry position at Moundville Baptist Church.  During that next year, he took extension classes in seminary from New Orleans.  In the fall of 2002 God led him to Texas to attend Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth.  The only problem was that the He met Becca, the girl that would steal his heart, the summer before he left.  Becca and Steven married in July of 2003 and both moved back out to Texas so he could finish school.  While at seminary God blessed them with Emma.  Emma was born September 2004.  Steven graduated in the fall of 2005.  He graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  In May of 2005 Steven began his service at Centre First Baptist Church.  Since then they have been blessed with the birth of their son, Gary Steven Langford III (Trace).
