First Baptist Church of Centre is a great place.  I love CHAOS (the youth group).  I also enjoy being able to play in the IMPACT band.  If you're looking for a church home look no further!  Jesus loves you, and First Baptist will too!

My husband, Merle, and I have been members of First Baptist Church for about six years now.  Warm smiles, friendly handshakes, and a welcoming hello have always greeted us.  We know that wherever we decide to study and worship we will be fed the Word of God.

My husband, John, and I have been members of First Baptist Church of Centre for 41 years, and have been involved in almost every ministry of the church at some point or another.  Through laughter, tears, and joys our church family has always been there for us.  We could not have found a more loving and caring church, and we are tremendously blessed to be a part of this fellowship.

We moved to Centre when I was nine years old, and began attending First Baptist Church.  Three years later I accepted Christ into my heart.  Except for the time that I was in college at Auburn First Baptist has always been my church.  I enjoy working in the nursery, and have also been a GA's teacher.  First Baptist has always been a warm and loving church, and through the years has taught me how to have a close relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  God has blessed me in so many ways.

I was born and raised in Centre, Alabama.  In 1987 I visited First Baptist of Centre and soon became a member.  I knew that I had found my church home.  I couldn't imagine being anywhere else!
